Gordon Quilty

Gordon Quilty is an employment law solicitor with over 8 years’ experience advising employees on an extensive range of employment law matters.

Gordon’s most recent employment law role prior to joining our firm was at Pattinson & Brewer Solicitors, where Gordon worked for over 3 years and was described in the Legal 500 guide (2019) entry as one of the “key contacts”.  His previous employment law experience also includes 2 years working at Thompsons Solicitors, one of the UK’s largest employment law firms, and 3 years at Tower Hamlets Law Centre.

Gordon trained at ‘Magic Circle’ law firm Allen and Overy and after qualifying in 2000 he worked for 5 years as a Litigation Intellectual Property solicitor at Allen & Overy.

Gordon is passionate about access to justice and has considerable experience of advising employees on complex employment law matters. He also has extensive experience of representing clients in employment tribunal litigation, including in matters such as unfair dismissal, a wide range of complex discrimination and harassment claims, breach of contract, whistleblowing, and TUPE and redundancy consultation claims.   He has represented clients in mediations and has significant experience of negotiating settlements.
